Hi-Res Security Ltd are very proud to have achieved the SIA Approved Contractor Status since 2013 and are continuously striving to maintain the high standards which have earned us the approval. The objective of the SIA's Approved Contractor scheme is to raise performance standards and to assist the private security industry in developing new opportunities. The assessment involves an independent assessor who carries out an audit on indicators which measure all aspects of the company and scores according to achievement levels.

Hi-Res Security Ltd is an Associate Company member of NASDU and staff within the company are individual members as well as being NASDU certified as dog and handler teams. (See Training and Welfare for more information about our dog handler training with NASDU.)

National Association of Security Dog Users (NASDU)

Safecontractor - The Health & Safety Assessment Scheme

The company is pleased to have achieved approval from safecontractor since 2011. Every organisation has a legal obligation to ensure that contractors who visit or work on their premises operate in a safe way. There is therefore the need to assess their health and safety arrangements. The safecontractor scheme is designed to review and audit the health and safety policies, procedures and documentation of contractors. It is a leading health and safety accreditation scheme which many organisations use as a central web database as their primary means of selecting contractors. Constructionline

Constructionline is the UK's leading procurement and supply chain management service that collects, assesses and monitors company information to ensure that buyers can be confident in using approved suppliers who are on the Constructionline database. CHAS is established as the market leader for health and safety pre-qualification in the UK. Appproved contractors are assessed by CHAS to ensure that their Health and Safety arrangements are at an acceptable standard to buyers and others. CHAS also gives guidance on any weaknesses in a supplier's safety management, which means we are able to improve and maintain our Health and Safety standards for the benefit of our staff, our customers and the public. SMAS is a proud member of the Safety Schemes in Procurement forum and as such we have achieved additional accreditation with them, following our Safecontractor approval. Being an approved contractor on the SMAS database gives peace of mind that customers are dealing with a genuine company who have been assessed for Health and Safety and are regularly checked for insurances, references and financial competence.
